About me
Welcome to my website and thankyou for showing an interest in learning to drive with me.
A little about myself – after leaving school i joined the Royal Air Force worked for 28 years as an Air Traffic Controller. During this time i served in various places around the World, but my favourite job was always teaching new people, and seeing them progress to work solo.
Whilst with the RAF I took a Psychology Degree with the Open University to better understand people and the way we learn. Learning and memory were the subjects that captured my imagination the most.
When i left the RAF in 2006 i trained with LDC to become a Driving Instructor, and i have remained with them ever since. I love the freedom of the job, the variety of people i get to meet – but most of all the satisfaction and achievement felt when a pupil passes their test.
